Organization

The organization is the top-level element of the information hierarchy in Contiamo. All of your users, projects, schemas, and endpoints are contained within the organization.

Organizations have administrators. An organization can have multiple administrators.

Organization administrators create and manage organization users, projects, and project admins and project users.

Organization Users

The Organization Users view lists all users with the following details:

  • User name

  • Email

  • Created At (timestamp)

  • Status (Activated, Invitation pending, Invitation expired)

  • Organization Admin (Y/N)

  • Project (listing projects the user is part of)

Managing Organization Users

To invite users to an organization, go to Organization > Users > Create User. You will need to provide a User name and Email.

To add an organization admin, go to Organization > Users > right-click on a [Organization User] Actions menu > Add Admin.

To remove an organization admin, go to Organization > Users > right-click on the [Organization User] Actions menu > Remove Admin.

To remove an organization user, go to Organization > Users > right-click on the [Organization User] Actions menu > Delete.

Organization Projects

The Projects view lists all organization projects in cards displaying:

  • Project name

  • Timestamp created

  • Your membership status

Each card has an Actions menu in the top right corner with the following functions:

  • Manage Members

  • Rename

  • Delete

Managing Projects

To create a project, go to Organization > Create Project.

To rename a project, go to Organization > right-click on the [Project] Actions menu > Rename.

To delete a project, go to Organization > right-click on the [Project] Actions menu > Delete.
